We found Souq Samurai as the friendship of two girls who have Mediterranean hearts. Got inspired from endless Mediterranean continent and twisted oriental elements of coastlines.
Our travels to Ibiza, Barcelona, Mykonos, Marrakesh, Capri and Italian Riviera Amalfi started journey of Souq Samurai.
Istanbul, where east meets west is the location where we established Souq Samurai.
Our goal is to design to be loved and passed down.
We consider sustainability, supporting environment, community and local craftsmanship mattering so much.
Approximately 80% of the collection is produced from premium quality leftover fabrics. We call them " pre-loved". Ancient techniques of Anatolian and Indian craftsmanship will continue to be the spice of the collection.

The brand has a familiarity among Turkish fashion followers and influencers.
Published in many digital and well known magazines. Famous with it’ s unique
Mediterranean style that has an oriental twist.

Fenn Shirt is one of the best - sellers.
I asked and collected a true boy-friend shirt shapes from my male friend's in the beginning of this journey.
The design flow, pattern, measurements, details and button sizes were worked through from collected materials.






Acid washes & garment dyes were used on jersey lines for bringing Mavi denim culture.
Antibes dress is the top seller in our products.
I carried the design and details through all
collections since from the debut.
Draping, wrap, tie detailing and side button opening became our signature.






The sets are the favorites for our customers.
I carried #matchingset trend to our collections and they sold well.
Matching sets were easy to style, go out and worn for all occassions.






#styling
I had chance to experience a bit further for creative direction and styling for our shootings.
(It was so tiring especially outdoor shooting, but so satisfying too)
My aim was to give clues for our customers about our brand ID; salty, chic and chill Mediterranean life-style.
I did all stylings and art direction as well as all prop and set designs.
